This little craft project is a little unusual, but it's easy to do and makes a great gift idea for anyone.
For Mother's Day, if you have some extra money, buy mom a small bulletin board and attach a picture or a note with your personalized push pins.
You Will Need:
small candy molds (mine were tiny flowers)
plaster of paris
bulletin board push pins
craft paint
Personalize Push Pins
Instructions:
Prepare the plaster of paris according to the manufacturer's instructions. Pour a small amount of plaster into the molds that you have chosen for your pins.
When the plaster has partially set, and look a little like pudding, put a push pin in each mold. Make sure they are placed in the center of each mold and that they sit up nice and straight. Let the plaster set.
When the pins are dry, unmold and paint in your choice of color. I chose gold and silver so that I wouldn't have to paint in the tiny details - and they really look great.
Let the paint dry and give the push pins to mom in a tiny box.
