Make a treasure hunt for your spouse. Start by mailing or e-mailing him the first clue. Then leave clues all over the house, yard, car or his office telling him where to find the next clue. End the hunt by making a picnic in the back yard or going to a park for a picnic. Use your imagination and have fun. The simple things are the ones people remember.
Use lipstick to make hearts and love notes on the rear view mirror, car windows, bathroom mirror or windows of the house. Leave a kiss on his napkin for lunch or dinner.Tawra Kellam is the author of the frugal cookbook Not Just Beans: 50 Years of Frugal Family Favorites. I need help guys, my mom is getting nothing for Valentines day and i would like to make her a craft!! I am a very crafty person so any ideas!?!?!
Every year i make homemade chocolates. Using the chocolate wafers can be inexpensive depending on what you put in the centres. Truffles are one of the favories. Its a great way to say I love you and the quality and taste is much better than store bought chocolates. Also you can make some variations very quickly and easily. Almond bark is one of them. These can be made with or without molds. For the finishing touch I arrange these chocolates in a homemade box that can be made out of any kind of paper or cardboard laying around the house, decorated with tissue paper and/or foils which can be found at the dollar store. My hubby and kids just love it and its one of my many ways to show them I love them.
