i fink the rulse are fabulise i mean if your kid went trick or treating and they had an alergie the rules would help them
I believe this being my opinion and I am just a kid that these are GREAT RULES! A lot of kids get hurt or lost on halloween and that is not write so plan a head!
So some people may think these rules are stupid, good luck to you, and your kids. If you feel that your children are safe without these rules you must live in a very trusting world. These "rules' will keep some children safe, while it will not make a lick of difference to some others. I was raised in a country that does not celebrate Halloween, and have never trick or treating. I now live in the US were they do celebrate it, I have a 5 yr old son and he has never been trick or treating either. But he dresses up, (love's it) and will take a basket of candy to the senior center and nursing home each Halloween to do our own celebration. We know the people there and they do not offer him candy in return. I do not believe that for everyday of the year I should teach my child about stranger danger and the value of only having a few candy a day / week and then in one night throw that out the window.... Like most holidays in the western world, they have become more about money or what present I can get, rather than the original meaning behind the celebration, maybe if we got back to basic's we wouldn't feel the need to celebrate the way we do, and these 'rules' wouldn't need to apply
