Curly Ribbon Craft Foam Santa Pin

Kids will enjoy making this fun foam Santa pin with curling ribbon hair and beard.

Craft Foam Santa

Craft supplies you will need:

Small pieces of fun foam red, white, flesh.

Tiny pink pompom. Small white pompom

Tiny google eyes

White curling ribbon

Scissors (children use only with an adults help)

Pin backing or magnet

Craft glue or tacky glue

Instructions:

Cut a hat out of red craft foam; a simple triangle shape is easy and very effective.

With the white craft fun foam, cut a small cloud shape, similar to what you see in the photo, and glue this to the hat.

Cut a small half oval shape out of skin tone foam for Santa's face.

Glue the hat onto the face. Glue a small white pompom at the top of the hat.

With an adult's help, take a pair of scissors and with the scissors opened, pull a pieces of curling ribbon through the scissors. This will make a curl. Make 5 white curls and glue them to the face - one near where the ears should be; one on each side, and three at the chin. These curls make Santa's hair and beard.

Glue the tiny pink pompom close to the beard for Santa's nose. Glue the google eyes near the nose.

Lastly, glue on a pin back to wear or a magnet so that you can show it off on the fridge. Enjoy!
