AllFreeCrafts News: Free Crafts, Craft Projects and Patterns
Christmas on a budget is our theme this week, with more earth friendly ideas for Christmas decorations, each one using common household items as the base.
We've compiled 50 homemade gifts for you or your kids to make for under $5, each one emphasizing the personal time and love that goes into it, rather than a designer price tag. If you already have basic craft supplies on hand - such as fabric or wool scraps, paper, glue and paint - then many of these homemade Christmas gifts will cost you nothing but time.
Each year, I experiment with gift in a jar recipes to find a tried-and-trusted recipe for inclusion in my family gift baskets. The jar recipes in this newsletter are my own recipes, and those that I have personally trial tested, tweaked, and, hopefully, perfected. Enjoy!
You'll also find easy bazaar craft ideas throughout this newsletter - beginning with the newest craft projects added to AllFreeCrafts.
Brand New Craft Projects Each of these new craft projects would make great bazaar crafts for Christmas fundraising. Easy and inexpensive to make, with lots of display appeal.
Christmas Crafts on a Budget Christmas crafts that use recyclables have a three-fold purpose: easy on the budget, easy on the environment and easy on the eye! |
50 Gifts to Make for Under $5 50 inexpensive homemade gifts to make for everyone on your list, divided into handy categories.
Layered Soup in a Jar Mixes Layered soup mixes look great and make practical gifts for college students, neighbours, teachers, or your mail carrier. Versatile and economical, I've also used the following soup mixes for my family gift baskets.
Please see Gifts in a Jar index for dozens more jar mix ideas.
