Create your own unique candle holders from plain candle sticks and glass votives or glass candy dishes.
Actually, you can use all sorts of recycled or repurposed items to make these; use your imagination and the items you have on hand to make your own designs. Also check out the glassware aisle of your local thrift store for unique shapes or glass designs that will turn something as ordinary as candle holders into something extraordinary and beautiful.
Craft Supplies:
Candle sticks
Glass votive, candy dish or suitable glassware
Strong glue such as E6000 or Household Goop
Craft Instructions:
Wash both your holders and bases and dry completely.
Apply glue to the bottom of your glass holders and secure to base. Allow the glue to dry several days to be sure they are firmly attached.
I have made several different versions of these candle holders, but these are my favourites to date.
