This adorable hat will keep your little newborn's head warm and stylish.

Materials:

Bernat Cotton Tots Yarn in colors of your choice

In this pattern, the colors are as follows:

Color A-Blue
Color B-Yellow
Color C-White
Size US 8 straight needles
Size US G crochet hook

Knit Directions:

With Color A, CO 54 St, Work K1 P1 for 6 rows
With Color B, Work Stockinette Stitch for 1 row
Next row- k2, yo, k2tog across to form eyelet
Work Stockinette Stitch for 4 rows
With Color C, Work Stockinette Stitch for 6 rows
K4, k2tog across
Purl across
K3, k2tog across
Purl across
K2, k2tog across
Purl across
K1, k2tog across
purl across
k1, k2tog across
-Finish off leaving a long tail for sewing up seam.
-sew up seam
Weave in all ends.

Crochet Directions:

With Color A, join yarn with sc at base of brim
sc around (54 SCs)
Ch1,*sc 4, ch3, slip stitch in same space to form picot*
repeat from * across
FO
With Color C, Ch 100 to make lace
Weave into eyelets in color B section
FO
Weave in all ends.
