Frustrated Fred
Fun Fur Pencil Topper

by Twila Lenoir
Copyright © 2004-2008 AllFreeCrafts.com

Make Dad a fun fur pencil topper that looks cute and will remind him of you when he keeps it near his desk.

When Dad has a bad day, just tell him to place the pencil between both hands and roll it back and forth to make Frustrated Fred's hair stand on end. Then Dad can smooth out the hair, and do it again.

Dad will soon feel a lot better!

Pencil Topper Craft

What You Need:

small piece of green fun fur (available at craft stores and sometimes bargain shops or dollar stores)

2 plastic, movable eyes

1 yellow pompom

1 yellow pipe cleaner

pencil

scissors

glue

Frustrated Fred

Craft Instructions:
lovedad (10K)

Take a piece of green fun fur that is big enough to go around pencil with a small overlap. Wrap the fun fur around the top area of the pencil.

Wrap the yellow pipe cleaner around the bottom of the fun and the pencil. Twist it together to fasten the fun fur securely to the pencil. Loop each end of the pipe cleaner in a bow shape. If the ends are too long, cut off the excess.

Separate the fur a little bit where you want to glue on the eyes. Put a spot of glue on the back of the plastic eyes and glue into place.

Finally, make Fred's nose by by gluing the yellow pompom just below the eyes.
