Round Button Patriotic Pins Crochet Pattern

Show your support for your country with these round button pins with a crocheted edging.

What you will need:

Red or royal blue cotton crochet size 10 (or your national colors)

Size 7 steel hook

Pin back

Thin ribbon red or blue

White tiny ribbon roses

1x1x1/8 wood disk (v10045 by Lara's crafts)

White and rose acrylic paint

Black permanent marker

Acrylic sealer

Ready:

Rnd 1 with red or royal blue, ch 8, sl st to join to form a ring, ch 3, 29 dc in ring, join in beg ch-3. (30 dc)

Rnd 2 ch 3, 2 dc in same dc in each rem dc around around, join in top of beg ch 3. (90 dc)

Rnd 3 Ch 1, sc in next dc, ch 3) rep around, join in beg sc, fasten off.

Paint the wood disk white, let dry. Dry brush two little rose cheeks, let dry. With a thin permanent marker, draw the eyes, eyebrows and smile on. Put on a sealer, let dry.

Glue the wood face to the center of your crochet circle. Glue on the thin ribbon bow and then glue on the ribbon roses. Last, glue on the pin back. Enjoy !
