Homemade Bath and Beauty Recipes You don't need to spend a fortune in a fancy boutique to give personal bath and beauty products this Christmas; here are some options for making your own.
Basic Herbal Milk Bath Combine 2 cups of milk powder, 1 cup of cornstarch and two teaspoons of your favorite herbs in a blender. Blend to fine powder. Add 1/2 cup of milk bath mixture to warm running water as you fill your bath. Relaxing herb choices include chamomile, lavender and rose petals.
Oatmeal Milk Bath Sachets Romantic Ladies printable sachets print two to a page, and are great little stocking stuffers to fill with our easy oatmeal milk bath recipe.
Homemade Oatmeal Soap Easy recipe to make in the microwave using a bar of Dove and oatmeal.
Spicy Tea Soaps Spice up glycerin soaps with your own blend of dried flowers and herbal tea. |
Cocoa Lip Gloss Fill a small container with petroleum jelly, then empty the petroleum jelly into a microwavable dish. Microwave at 30 second increments until just melted. Stir in enough cocoa powder to flavor and color the lip gloss. Pour into the original pot. Let cool until set.
Variation: Berry Lipgloss Replace the cocoa powder with powdered berry juice mix, or strawberry or raspberry kool-aid (with sugar already added) .
