How to Boil Eggs for Easter
For well-cooked eggs with firm, brightly yellow yolks, place a single layer of eggs in a large saucepan, cover with cold water, and bring to a boil. As soon as the water boils, remove the pan from the heat and let eggs sit in the hot water for 20 minutes.
How to Check that an Egg is Fresh
If you place a raw egg in a glass of water and it stays at the bottom, then it is a "good egg." If it floats, you know it is a "rotten egg."

Share the Love of Crafting
Our new feature enabling readers to add their comments to our pages is a definite hit! It is heartwarming to read all the positive feedback and inspiring to see how many people are enjoying the crafts at AFC. The Leave a Comment script will be on all new pages, and added to current pages as time allows. So far the spam filter is doing a good job, but we will soon be hiring someone to help monitor and respond to posts as required.
The new bookmark button
has also proven popular so it will soon be a permanent fixture throughout the site as well.
We're looking into some more nifty ideas - among them, a revival of our forums, but with added social networking features such as a photo gallery to share your finished crafts, and perhaps even an interactive blog community. So exciting!
As always, you are invited to join the Allfreecrafts Yahoo Group for daily craft links, crafty chat, and the friendly companionship of crafters from around the world.
