Creative Candle Holders

Create your own unique candle holders from plain candle sticks and glass votives or glass candy dishes.

Actually, you can use all sorts of recycled or repurposed items to make these; use your imagination and the items you have on hand to make your own designs.

Check out our Ivy Bowl Candle Lamp for some more inspiration, or this Faux Oil Lamp, which is made entirely of recycled bits and pieces, but looks very much like an antique oil lamp.

Craft Supplies:

• Candle sticks
  
  
• Glass votive or candy dish
  
  
• Strong glue such as E6000 or Household Goop

Craft Instructions:

Wash both your holders and bases and dry completely.

Apply glue to the bottom of your glass holders and secure to base. Allow the glue to dry several days to be sure they are firmly attached.

I have made several different versions of these candleholders, but these are my favourites to date.
