I Love Turtles

If you’re fascinated by turtles, here’s a variety of turtle crafts that you can make yourself, or use as a summer craft project for camp, guides or scouts.

Recycled CD Turtle (at left), is made, as the name suggests, from an old CD.

Clay Pot and Saucer Turtle Duo are turtles you can make yourself from clay pots and clay saucers.

Terra Cotta Turtle (at right), is also fashioned from a clay pot, with pompom legs.

Rockin’ Little Turtle (at left), is my favorite, I think. It can be made any size you like, from smooth rocks and pebbles.

Finally, there’s this little Turtle Critter, (bottom right), made by a five-year-old from a clay saucer and craft foam (the pattern for the legs, head and tail are provided on the craft project page).
