New Home Blessings

My husband and I have just moved to a new home in the countryside - our first house move since my children were toddlers. Sorting through the clutter of twenty-odd years was a challenge … and weaning my craft supplies down from I-might-need-that-someday to the must-haves caused more than a few debates between hubby and me. But we made it through, and we both love our new home.

My daughter wanted to make me a housewarming present, and I told her it wasn’t necessary - but the day we went to pick up the house key was hectic and tiring. When she arrived to help, bearing a Home Blessings Basket, complete with one of the printable scrolls from my site, I was touched and heartened. We all sat down on the new porch to a lovely snack of crackers and cheddar cheese, fresh pumpernickel bread and spinach dip, and a glass of red wine. Lovely!
