Delightful Decoupage

I think these four new decoupage crafts are really delightful, combining a touch of Victoriana with feminine romance. As such, they would work well as homemade gifts for Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day.

Pictured on the left is a Crackled Rose Vase, which is made from a glass vase that is decoupaged with a paper napkin rose motif, then completed with a crackle finish.

Also made from a glass container is the Reverse Decoupage Vase shown at right, which uses a very polished reverse decoupage technique.

With reverse decoupage, you apply the decoupage medium to the wrong side of a glass object. The Reverse Decoupage Angel Plate, shown at left, and the Reverse Decoupage Hurricane Globe, pictured on the right, are also made in the same way.
