Instructables Craft Skills Contest

Instructables.com has teamed up with Singer, Lion Brand and Stitch Lounge, to sponsor a Crafts Skills Contest.

Here’s you chance to share your knowledge of crafting and win some great prizes, including a sewing machine, gift certificates and a copy of Lion Brand Yarn Vintage Styles for Today.

The contest organizers are asking you to show off your crafting skills, and explain how to do certain crafting techniques. Examples given to get you started include tutorials on how to cast on, how to sew with fake fur, how to knit cables or how to thread a serger.

The contest opened for entries on August 28, 2008 and the deadline is September. 28, 2008 11:59 PM PST. Read the official rules first, then why not take a crack at winning one of the prizes!
