This is a fun little free crochet pattern to make a pair of Cherry Picker Earrings. The original pattern was designed by Tamie Snow, of Roxycraft.com, who has also written Tiny Yarn Animals: Amigurumi Friends to Make and Enjoy, now available from Amazon. I could see these being worn at a picnic, or for some other light-hearted occasion, or even for Halloween, if you needed a cherry accent to go with your ice cream sundae suit.

While I was looking around at crocheted earring patterns, I found this elegant pattern, simply called Delilah by Knitonthenet. It’s a free crochet pattern, and looks fairly simple, even though the effect is stunning.

If you’re up for a different type of crocheting, try making these Wire Star Earrings from red wire, or another coloring of your choosing. There is a chart to help you sort out the stitch placements. Or you could see how they might turn out using just thread instead.

Finally, check out these fine Swag Earrings, a free Beadwrangler.com bead crochet project by Lydia F Borin. Aren’t they gorgeous? The instructions are quite detailed, and once you get going then I’m sure the second pair would be easier to make than the first pair. Because, come on now, how could you stop at just one pair?

Ok, I couldn’t resist adding these two babies - actually one free pattern from Woolcrafting.com, used here as a crocheted pumpkin pendant or Crocheted Pumpkin Earrings. The basic ball shape would lend itself to other possibilities too - mmm, now how about Christmas ball earrings, or soccer ball earrings for a soccer mom?
