Vintage knitting patterns don’t often feature color photos, but these two free knitting patterns, originally published by Corticelli in 1922, have both a color plate and black-and-white photo of the finished articles.
The first one, a Wool Tuxedo sweater coat, is done in a pleasing pattern of colored and contrasting stripes, which circle the coat in warm tones named as Terra Cotta, Mandarin, Navy Blue and Myrtle Green.
The second pattern, a chic French Blouse, features a high striped collar, which can be worn open in a V-neck, if preferred, plus a pleasant pattern of purls on the shoulders.
