Valentine Pincushion

This Valentine pincushion is a neat craft for those just beginning to knit or crochet. You will be making a long, thin length of plain knitting or single crochet that looks like a miniature scarf when it is finished. The “scarf” is then rolled into a circle and pressed into a coffee jar lid or heart shaped box or tin to make a pin cushion.

This could also make a nice little homemade gift for anyone who sews, on Mother’s Day or for other special occasions.
