Homemade Valentine Cards

Tissue Paper Valentine Cards are easy to make - just cut designs from red tissue paper, in much the same way as you would make paper snowflakes, incorporating lots of heart shapes as you go along.

We also have directions for four different Homemade Valentine Cards made from card stock, gingham scrapbooking paper - and, believe it or not, your sewing machine, which is used to make “stitches” around some of the paper shapes.

Kids might enjoy an alternative to homemade cards - they can also have some fun dipping their hands in paint to make this Handprint Valentine Scroll, which can be rolled up and presented with flair to grandparents, moms or dads. Of course, you can use the same idea for the kids to make handprint cards as well - we’re sure both creations would be equally well loved and appreciated.
