New Candle Crafts

candle making, or are looking to try something new to make as homemade gifts, you might want to check out the new free candle crafts just added to the site.  These are projects rated easy to do, and all except the candle wax catchers use recycled materials as the base.

Use old alphabet blocks, a clay pot, and a wooden pot, to make the celestial moon-and-stars candle holder, shown at left, or recycle a special wine bottle to make the wine bottle drip candles holder, shown at right.

Ribbon Spool Candle Holders, at right, are easy to make using empty ribbon spools and silk flowers, while the Candle Wax Catchers, at left, are made from Sculpey clay and decorated with pretty clay roses that you also make yourself. 

The newest addition is an Angelic Candle Holder, made from a styrofoam cone and clay pot.  She holds tea light candles and would look great among the decorations at Christmas time.
