Easter Crafts You Can Eat
Edible egg bunnies and hot cross buns are two of the new Easter craft recipes added to AllFreeCrafts this week. I’m originally from England where hot cross buns were a very traditional part of our Easter celebrations, so I’m looking forward to making these for myself this year.
The egg bunny shown at right gives you an idea of what is used in this recipe - if you’re lucky, you’ll be able to get the kids to eat about half a dozen small baby carrots along with their eggs. Anytime you can sneak in extra veggies, it’s a good thing, right?
Another one of my favorites is the Easter Bunny Cake, which looks just as good as store-bought versions, but costs a whole lot less. For the base, all you basically need is a recipe or mix for two round cakes, and we’ll show you how to cut up one of them to make bunny ears and a bow tie.
This is a fun cake to decorate, because you simply sprinkle coconut over the cool whip frosting or cake frosting,
then embellish with your choice of candies.
Also worth mentioning are Devilled Egg Chicks, which I added to the site last Easter. They have proven popular, so I hope that you will enjoy them too.
