I was very pleased with the way this paper flowers Valentine bouquet turned out - all you need is tissue paper and a chenille stem for each carnation or rose. The carnations, in particular, look very realistic and are surprisingly easy to make. The roses are a little trickier, but with practice you should be able to make some nice paper rosebuds.
Small wooden hearts and craft fun foam flower shapes become Miniature Valentine Plant Pokes when you glue them to toothpicks and decorate with stickers, dimensional paint, glitter and faux jewels.
Heidi Ott, of CraftersCommunity, is a talented craft designer who has generously shared two of 
her newest Valentine crafts with us. Both use a simple salt dough recipe as the base. Choose from a Salt Dough Woven Heart Ornament, shown at left, or a Salt Dough Valentine Candy Dish, at right.
