If you have a pair of too-small high-heeled shoes lurking in your closet, then try this recycling project on for size and make them into a pair of Glass Slippers.
The glass buttons used in this project are available in most dollar stores and craft stores in a wide range of translucent colors. All you need apart from that is some spray paint, a little florist’s foam, a little hot glue and a small spray of silk vines and dried or silk flowers.
You can tailor this floral decoration to suit special occasions. Use dried pink rosebuds or red silk rosebuds to make a Cinderella slipper for Valentine’s day or Mother’s Day; paint the slipper orange or green and mount on a plaque with a black witch’s hat for Halloween; or decorate a glass slipper for Christmas with a pick of poinsettias.
