If you rely on the net for your free craft projects and patterns, as I do, then you likely have many internet pages saved under your “Favorites” or bookmarks. My own “Favorites” list is subdivided into different folders, and contains well over 500 craft links, collected over the past five years.
Recently, I had computer troubles that lead to a complete hard drive failure. If I had not backed up my Favorites list, all those wonderful craft links would be lost.
The good news is that your favorite bookmarks are fairly easy to back up to floppy disk, CD or DVD. Here are two links that show you how:

If these two pages don’t work for you, do try searching Google or Yahoo for similar information. Once you have instructions that apply to your situation, then the backup should be fairly simple - and, believe me, it is well worth your time!
