Easy Paste Just mix 1/2 cup water with 1 cup of flour for paper gluing and paper crafts.
Cornstarch Finger Paint Mix together 3 tbsps sugar, 1/2 cup cornstarch and 2 cups of cold water. Cook over low heat until thick, stirring constantly. Cool and pour into muffin pans, adding food coloring to each cup. Shelf paper is good for fingerpainting!
Soap Bubbles Mix together 1 cup of water, 2 tbsps liquid detergent, 2 tbsps glycerine (available at the drug store) and 1/2 tsp sugar. The glycerine seems to give the bubbles a bit more staying power before they pop…
Craft Paints Mix together 1/2 cup laundry starch and 1/2 cup water. Slowly pour in 4 cups boiling water and stir with a long wooden spoon. Add 1 tbsp glycerine and let cool. Poor the mixture into small containers and add food color to each one. Store in the fridge, tightly covered.
